I can see blaming King Putt, the most irresponsible politician in the United States. Much like the left's 6 year long "blame Bush"- a-thon, we will be able to blame King Putt for every bad thing that happens for a long, long time.

But why the NRA? Did the shooter hear the voice of Charlton Heston from beyond the grave?

As I said in another thread, I thought California's strict gun control was supposed to prevent things like this from happening.

My BIL, sister, and their three girls are moving out of that hellhole within two weeks.  Can't happen soon enough.

This is an example of what really aggravates me about the anti-gun-nut faction.

There are posts on various blog sites, newspaper articles, discussion fora, and the like talking about "mass shootings" and the need for more gun control.  There is absolutely NO mention of 'knife control' or 'vehicle control' despite many of the dead/injured being that way due to stabbings and automobile collision.

Yea, thank god California has a 10 day wait period, New York style assault weapon registration,one purchase a month limit, and "clip" size limitation etc. etc.  What will they dream up next?

Is your sister moving to New York?  I would say it is a wash as far as 2nd amendment freedom.

Current California law on who is prohibited from owning a firearm.  Let's see how many this punk violated and how the DUmp monkeys would have changed it by adding or rewording it so that it would have prevented this tragedy.

This morning it was reported the kid had high functioning Asperger's syndrome.  He had been seeing a therapist since he was 13.  I think there were other things going on with him in addition to the Asperger's. 

He probably should have never been living on his own.

There sure seems to be a common thread with these mass murderers.  I understand that Asperger's is on the same spectrum with autism, and we now have one out of every 58 births as being diagnosed with some degree of autism.

I think this is an area that really needs a lot more attention than it's getting, especially when these kids (mostly boys) hit their late teens/twenties.

Yes, there was. It happened at Franklin Regional Senior High School on April 9, 2014. Alex Hrisbal is in custody and awaiting trial.

I'm wondering about something.  If this DUchebag was such a social misfit that he couldn't get laid, one could assume that he didn't have a job.  How'd he get the money to buy the weapons--his 'gun-hating (by their own admission)' family?  Wouldn't they be complicit then?

How about mommy  and daddy take some responsibility for raising a kid that probably should have been in a home or hospital instead of let loose on the public. They gave him money and fancy car and who knows what else and I bet they didn't discipline him once when he got out of line.

Mommy and Daddy were divorced. This now deceased twerp probably had extreme skill playing them against each other to get whatever suited his whims. Short of hiring a call girl, obviously. At any rate, I don't think they'll be taking responsibility. I expect a lot of, "I didn't know ...," "I didn't realize ...," "I don't know what happened ...," noises from them.
