I think GOBUCKS may be right.  I seem to remember something like that being quoted here.

I vaguely remember that too.  She did at one time say she had to take some meds that made her gain weight and she had to exercise.  Hope she doesn't exercise in an upstairs apartment.

 Ah the joys of...side effects

Yup, needed new med for diabetes, side effect...weight gain.

So back at the fight of finding the exercise/ intake combo to lose that weight and keep the med.

My dad had such a mild form, really.

And for those hung calories in, calories out mantra, just damn fracking stuff it. but two lines up there is mention of exercise (calories out)/intake (calories in) combo to lose the wgt and keep the med.

It's in the label, side effect, weight gain.

So many meds have that side effect.

We are trying a new med within the same family as well.

So just got off the elliptical. I am afraid this will require a lot more exercise as well.

At least it's not Avandia, and ten pounds should be very doable.

She blames it on medication.  BUT, often Type 2 diabetes can be controlled/reversed with exercise and proper diet without medication.  Mine was, and has been.

Even without the diabetes/medication issue, she still maintained at one time the 'set point' is the culprit

Would like to share, mostly you can do it too

Yup I started to gain a tad, so went back to my usual eating habits... as in nothing major, just four pounds

Folks, I have maintained a fifty pound loss for now five years... would love to lose another twenty, but doc and I agree that this is probably set point...

You can do it.
Suffice it to say, with the extra fifty pounds in 2007 that must have been a sight to see. Yup, trust me.
This too shall pass.

So I guess when she sits on a subduction zone all those P,S and L waves are a real killer.

It has to be encouraging to obese people to know that they can someday look like nadin.

We've seen what a lard bucket nadin is in countless photos. Can you imagine how she'd look at plus fifty pounds?

And remember, that's fifty pounds on a carcass much less than five feet long.

Yup, she and doc agree. Maybe it was Doc Gooden.

I remember that post by nadin and something about it has always bothered me. Today I realized what it is. Why would nadin, an individual who knows all things in the medical field, need to visit a doctor who would know less than her? Had he consulted her about a case he had been having trouble with and the subject just came up in the conversation?

Of course she knows what she needs.

She nadins symptoms, and walla, a diagnosis pops up.

The problem is those pesky regulations on writing prescriptions.

Meaty crunchy is being well received by our forum !
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
