Proglodytes discuss the fuzz

Lots of pig-trashing in that thread.

Which is weird because as soon as the GOP starts talking about cutting government services the first thing we hear is, "ZOMG! The GOP wants to leave us defenseless without police!"

Different day, different outrage, I suppose.

Anyway, this struck me as interesting...

He told me that they all know who the bad ones are, and that all you can do is just stay away from them. He says that the way police culture works, they cannot speak out lest they become shunned by all. He also said that the force is 90% Republican.

Yet, 80% of felons ID as Democrat.

Maybe the 10% of cops who are Democrat are 80% felons.

In other words, 90% of the cops, avoid the other 10%?  :???:  :-)
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

This little fact I am quite familiar with, even in my left leaning part of the world.  One reason I don't get too upset over the libtards dreams of a revolution.

BINGO! The AGW NAZIs do not put up with dissent. A very familiar reaction to leftist/progressive group think.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
