I don't care that they may not have ASKED for the media attention, and when you get down to it, my rant isn't against them so much as it is against the harpies in the media shilling this pablum, and the mind-numbed idiots who are consuming it by the super-tanker load.

h5

Personally, I don't care one way or the other about the harpies. They're idiots, along with the paparazzi that photograph anything that even looks like a "celebrity."

But, with William, I see an oft-missing element that is just plain refreshing to see these days. That element is class.

He handles his "duties" with grace and aplomb. And Kate is wired pretty much the same way.

I wish them well. The harpies can go eff themselves.  :-)

It's become the Royal Addiction to the media.

Says something about country's that abandon their century's old traditions to remove the sense of identity the people have.

We keep trying this by renaming a Christmas Tree a Holiday Tree for starters. How many people today read to their children before they go to sleep, when was the last time we see a woman wearing a hat in Church, when do we rename Thanks Giving to something the Atheists approve of.

BTW the Queens only daughter Ann has her nose in a twist-----Strange woman, she says the birth of the future King of England has nothing to do with her. Kind of nasty comment as her daughter is due to have her baby next year.   But then she is 10 in line to the Throne and I believe she was bumped back by her 3 brothers.   Must be a blow to her that her mother changed the line of succession to allow the first born regardless of sex to be next to rule.

You want to tear up at American Tradition, head for Arlington and watch the horse drawn carriages carrying our Vets. to the grave.   The Taps played and the salute.   Some are solo, no family to be there, others have 20 limos and a band.   I like to follow the carriages with no mourners just to insure  at least one person paid their respects and thanks.

Coverage of the royal tot was over the top, but look how the paparazzi treats the children of celebrities here.

Yup.

The fact that her dad was so screwed up had to be only part of what pushed Paris Jackson to try to end it all.  You know that living life in a constant media fish bowl was a factor.

I do not. They chose the lives they lead and led. They could have used their Hollyweird money to do good things, like Gary Sinese.

I didn't mean any offense about the Queen on money and such in my previous post, I was just joking about it and not being too serious.

I am talking about Michael Jackson's kids, not the Jackson 5. After seeing the way Michael Jackson grew up, why in God's name, did they award either of the Grandparents custody was beyond me. It was all about the money......
