My 9 year old nephew is the cutest guy that one could ever see. So cute throughout his life that people have always assumed that he was a girl (cause his hair is real long and curly and wears it in pony tail and such) even as he was wearing real little boy clothes and everything. He even has this little low hoarse voice that screams out "guy"! They would always say "she" to me when complimenting me on how cute he was.

He just made nine this mid May.

So I don't get to see him as often as I would like.

When I first called him and invited him to go to the movies with me and my daughters yesterday, he said....OK, but I've got a surprise for you guys.

My nine year old (well almost 9 he has a couple more days) asked me yesterday who is more stupid Gore, Edwards, Clinton, or Obama.  Then he wanted to know if democrats or liberals were more stupid.  Then he asked how liberals got so stupid.  So, see, 9 year olds can in fact be pretty darn smart.

From his looks, I'd say he's part African but since DUmmies are raising him I'd say the 'american' part is yet to be determined.

If his (presumably) public schol is teaching critical thinking, I think it would be prudent to ask, "who did you hear this from?" "your WHOLE school?" "when doea he want to send them to war? now?"

Also, did McCain actually say he _wants_ to be in Iraq for 100 years? I think you may actually be misquoting, but--whatever.

It's a fine thing to post cute stories about kids, but to imply that they are politally astute because of some of those cute things they say, is a bit of a stretch.

When I was 10 I voted for Bush in our 5th grade mock election because I knew Clinton was no good. Other than that I didn't care. I did, however, know that I'd be a Republican when I grew up.
