I've been saying for awhile this guy is a liberal plant. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy.
He gave me the Willy's when he about a year after being released from the POW camp began to tour military bases giving speech's.
I am not sure if he was then mentally fit to be making the rounds so soon after coming home. He did not take questions and did not tell of his experiences in the Camps, just kept raving about the Chinese and their war machine.
As the audience were all Uniformed Chiefs, Marines and Officers with wives or SO. it became very uncomfortable when he out of the blue began to tell us that any man in uniform or his wife gets sterilised, they become traitors to the USA. Very anti abortion and his point I believe was that the Chinese Army out numbered us 30 to one. Some sort of a WE NEED CANNON FODDER.
Years later I figured out he would not object to Illegals moving here if we could use their children to help when the Chinese invade California.
A large reception had been planned for him, a dinner and dancing later. He was whisked away immediately after his speech and few stayed for the free food and entertainment.
No one DARED to discuss his speech, and the in uniform were not taking a chance one of the wives would destroy their carear with any criticism of the speech.
I have to say there were a lot of Odd looks on the faces of the military, my EX refused to discuss his take on what had happened. Got odd when I called my Mom to tell her about the reception and she became agitated with me and told me for the 1,000 time to not talk about these things on the telephone. [ We lived in base housing and anything to her was possible after 22 years as a Navy wife herself and the fear of the Anti American hearings of the 50's ]
Yup, I believe old McCain needed in depth therapy before he Shit Canned his family for a woman with more money and influence to oil the way for his slide into politics. Shame full his treatment to his LOYAL family, I tend to not trust men like them, now I wonder if he ever had a full string of fish even as a child.
