For seconds after the verdict before rioting starts, no matter which way it turns out, I'd say six.
I read the transcript of the 911 call and found some interesting things in it that has been Spun so people think they are true if they do not read the transcript.

Zimmerman------YES
Dispatcher-----We do not NEED you to do that [ at no time was Zimmerman told NOT to follow ] Just advised that there was no need to put himself in danger.
The dispatcher had requested Zimmerman to keep an eye on Martin and it would have been impossible to do so without following Martin.
Why did Martin run, it was a dark and rainy night, why did HE feel the need to run and call attention to himself?
With Martin wearing a hood on a dark night how could Zimmerman know what race he was, age, or even sex, there are some very tall woman out there you know. Also some woman do walk from the knee and not the hip as is usual for females.
I know of no street fighter or otherwise that is going to yell for help when in a fight. But a man not use to fighting would when being overpowered by a stranger acting suspicious..
Have to remember Martin was out on a dark rainy night in an area that had had quite a few break ins recently, Had Martin not taken off running acting like he was up to no good, guilty of something Zimmerman would not have had to follow him.
