I think it would tie in with the other colors, especially the window treatments.

But it might not match with that beautiful green and white comforter. Was that a wedding gift?

Just photoshop the chair into the other picture, then we will know for sure!

That is actually a gawd-awful king size bedspread we've had since the avocado shag carpet days.

I was just giving you a hard time....works well to keep a kid warm! He looks comfy!

This looks more retro 70-ish.   :-)

Egads.  My aunt has those as bar stools, in white leather.  She hasn't re-decorated her house since she moved in.

No, no, no.

Demonic Underwear obviously, at least subconsciously, prefers the metallic-and-overpadded look.

This chair would not do at all.  Not at all.

You're selling it to me, frank.  I go against the grain.

It's a 1970's original.  I saved it from the dumpster during an office building remodel a few years ago.

The Lord's Supper (on the other wall) is over 100 years old.  The photo below that is off my aunt and uncle (aunt died before I was born).  It is one of those hand colored photos they use to do back in the 1940's.  The frame it is in is over 100 years old.  It has the original beveled glass.  I've been offered $300.00 for that frame.

I had a couple of those photos with similiar frames that I lost in a house fire in 2003....but one picture of my grandfather as a child I still have....the frame was toast, the glass did not break and protected the photo....

It's kind of like mixing a lava lamp and a Queen Anne four-postered bed and an avant-garde Finnish dresser and a framed Hans Holbein in a bedroom.  Not good at all.

Those don't look too bad.  I found a desk I liked at Target a month or so ago, but I haven't bought it yet.

We need a new chair for a special spot in the living area.

What do you think of this chair?

The fabric photographs b/w but it is really a black/cream color.

You have to promise me that the cover came from a albino Bengal tiger.  Then, I say it goes anywhere.  If not, it looks like something from Gemco or Monkey Wards circa 1976.

This coming Saturday I'll be coming into some money.   :-)

I need a couple of rugs.   I hate hate hate my coffee table and end tables and I'm using this crappy end table I got from my mom to put my tv on.  I might go ahead and get some new furniture for my living room.

Go for it. I say own whatever makes you happy. Unless you're going on some HGTV show, who cares what people think?

BTW I love the chair. I like the lines and fabric. I'm surprised it's at Walmart! I have had good luck with Target furniture. I've been pleasantly surprised.

About the desk - I have been looking at it for months trying to make up my mind.  It was on display in our local store and on the internet.  It was priced for $110.00.  I just could not make up my mind if I wanted to downsize.

Last week I decide it was a go!  We went to Wal-Mart.  There wasn't a damn desk in sight.  Nada.  In fact, it looked as if they were redoing the entire section.  I was distraught.  I didn't want to have to order it.  I want it NOW!

Then...destiny intervened.  My wife, who wouldn't know what I was looking for if it was tattooed on the back of her hand, found a desk on the bottom of a tall stack of boxes of furniture.  It was my desk!  The last one!

The desk was marked down for clearance.  It was $49.00.  I was a happy Wal-Mart shopper!

LOL!

I need a desk for my guest room, but it's not a necessity right now.  Ikea also has some decent looking furniture.  I might drive out there next weekend and look things over.

You won't be disappointed with this chair. It is lovely. Sturdy. Assembles pretty easily. Looks very expensive. Very comfortable! Black and cream (not black and white as shown). Very rich looking. Very comfortable.

I love the way this chair sits but i was very upset with the beige color. The chair actually looks white in the picture and me thinking it was white painted a room in my house to coordinate with the colors. After getting the chair the colors didnt look right. So that no one else s deceived I think the colors should be listed to where the customers can see them.

I purchased two of these chairs for my Livingroom. They are truly beautiful. Easy instructions but took a little time to put together. I saw these chairs on another web site and they cost a lot more than the Walmart price. They look great flanking my fireplace. I give it 10 stars.

I love, love, love my chair. I am so happy with it and very happy that I purchased it. Everyone that has seen it has complemented on how nice it looks and feels.
The chair is very sturdy and well made. A little hard lining up the screws but overall it is a beautiful chair.

My mother has a couple of similar chairs around her fireplace.  They're not bad.  I don't think they have as much padding, though.

I rec'd an high back leather office chair for my birthday...without seeing it put together or sitting in it first, I decided on the much lower priced one at wal mart, compared to the furnature stores "sale sale sale"...heck one lady even followed me out to the car to lower her price....."pushy"  I said....

So my birthday present was less then $100 with tax...compared to 200 or 300 at the other places.....sure the other chairs might of been a little nicer, but I am not sitting in this eight hours a day either...

I looked for the picture but it's not on-line, it might of been a special purchase item. The website has allot of on-line only items that can be shipped to your local store for free! Check it out! www.walmart.com

I am like Undies....I like a good deal. Even if I am spending someone else's money!

I must say, now that I've seen these pieces I'm not so sure about the chair.  The style of the table, chairs and desk are kind of mission style.  Can you see the furniture from your family room?

The Mission style table/chairs and desk are in a separate room.  The rooms are divided by the kitchen area.  There is a slim thread of a theme throughout the house, but each room is unique in actual style.  When you finally get back to the guest room, it's a black and red bordello.
