Be that as it may, that isn't "fair" that's just the system employed.

As BD was saying, "fair" is not a thing that can be defined by government bureaucrats, nor should we ever allow them to try. We already allow them to decide what is our isn't speech to be taxed and we've seen how nasty and vile they can be against those who meet the displeasure of their masters. Then there is the entire general incompetence issue.

Granted. Sad but true.
 

I won't begrudge you for being "too close to the subject." You should always look-out for your best interests. All we are saying is that the government never has your best interest at heart. The government serves only the government even if those in a given agency feel noble minded. At the end of the day they adhere only to self-sustaining rules of bureaucracy and the presumed cause of their employment will always take a backseat.

The government shoulda never been involved in the first place!

Name one thing they've ever done thing efficiently. Besides lose our money of course.
