For such a small percentage of the public, they have sure made their way into everything.  Look at the Public Schools and the Military and now our health care system.

I've been complaining how they commies have infiltrated every institution we have, and that was the plan all along.

Maybe they did in their own countries, but what the Soviets intended for us was something else....it was a subversive plan they called "Demoralization", which is pretty much complete.

I was just reading about a church that cancelled their scouts' charter because of the homosexual vote.  In another article I read that it's mostly churchs that sponsor scouts.  I wonder what the effect of that is going to be.  Wouldn't that have been something they considered before voting on the issue?

When I was a boy and then again as an adult leader, our Troop was sponsored by an elementary school. Troop 740, Lathers Elementary, Garden City, MI should be coming up on 50 years in just a couple/few years -- if they don't vote to disband. I have no idea how that's going to go.

Well I had the unpleasant duty of informing our local scout leaders, that I would no longer lend the woods on the back third of my property, to the Scouts.  I have had Scout Camping on my property for the last 8 years.  They said they understood, claimed they had no gay scouts in their troops, and wished me to reconsider.  I told them Christian Scripture labeled homosexuality an abomination before God.  I could not, in good conscience, support an organization that called evil good, and good, evil.  I would cringe at the prospect that a homosexual act might happen on my property.
As I was saying goodbye, a pastor from the Methodist Church came in and said they would no longer sponsor a troop there, either.  Sad, really.

As a former Webelos and the father of an Eagle Scout...what's happening to this organization makes me sick to my stomach.

Same here TRG. This did not have to happen. This decision was made by those with no prior connection to BSA but the damage is done.
