Electricity restored after massive D.C. outageWASHINGTON - The electricity is back in D.C. after a huge outage that left the downtown area in the dark during the height of the morning rush hours Friday. But while the power is back on, Metro is still experiencing problems. The Metro Center station remains shut down because of a track fire that occurred as the power was being restored. Firefighters are on the scene between the Farragut North and Metro Center stations. This is the second track fire Friday morning.
