I am going to threaten to quit my job today... 
 Advertisements [?]because the owner decided to hire an asscarrot redneck racist bigot repuke, and the owner is a registered Democrat. Go figure that one out. Yesterday the first thing the asscarrot says to me is, "who are you voting for"? I said "You don't want to go there". He starts it up anyway and goes on to say that Obama is a Muslim and no president should go have talks with terrorists like "the guy in Iran" and that he "won't vote for no n****". I told him "WTF dude ...my best most loving friends are black". I asked him if he was listening to Rush Limpballz or Bill O Lielly and he said that he wasn't but it sure seems like he is. He doesn't use a computer so where else would he get those ****ed up ideas? I am not going to even try to change his mind because he isn't worth my time. He was a butcher for Kroger for 20 years and never graduated from HS and is a Vietnam vet. Oh yea ..I asked him how that whole anti communist government policy war worked out for him since he shops at communist China's local Walmart store. Anyway, I came home and thought about it and decided that I could not work with or next to the asscarrot. I want the people who will vote for McLame to know that they are my enemy and I am not going to hide it anymore and they can take their repairs to someone else because I will not fix their shit anymore. I feel I should take a stand on my belief about this country and that we so desperately need to stop the repukes at any cost and end this ****ed up war and get rid of these blood thirsty money hungry neocons and lobbyists.

So ...wish me luck because today I tell the owner that it's me or him.

 I don't know - I've purposefully gotten fired from a job because the boss/owner was a racist, sexist bigot. I told him more than once to no make ugly comments and nicknames for people, and finally could not take it.

No it's not! I have never had a political discussion with a complete stranger. My mother always told me it was bad form to do so.

I've had co-workers similar to this. I didn't quit, but I think one of my co-workers caught my "Go to hell" vibe. lol. What I don't understand is the concept of being so shocked that the owner hired this guy just because he's a Democrat.

I honestly don't know how I would reply if a store employee baggered me on my political beliefs before waiting on me.      I can tell you right now though it would end in tears, and they as hell wouldn't be mine.   

I would simply say, "Look here douche bag, what has my political leanings have to do with you getting me a fricken cheeseburger?"

Well, that's just a dumbass reason to quit your job.

You know what, the owner of where I work is a republican and I'm not.  We had an interesting conversation about politics the other day, about what I did last weekend and such.  This was after the Managers meeting where he told not only my boss but all the other managers what a good job I was doing.
