Nads talks ropes
« on: March 26, 2013, 09:07:25 AM »
Seriously, who the hell wouldn't freak the hell out if you crashed your car down a ravine and when you regained consciousness you saw the pumpkin troll squatting over your body trying to administer first aid? I personally think all the Nads stories are the insane scribblings of a shut in who wishes her life was something that it is not. She probably took a "rock climbing course" in girls scouts 40 years ago and really liked it, so in her demented twisted mind she is a mountaineer. Come on, the DUng Heap attracts all kinds of sick weirdo freaks, from the posts I'm guessing about 80 per cent are medicated shut ins on government handouts.

Added remarks: Notice how she is always reminding people that she was in the rescue squad? Notice how she likes to tell people that she's done "military service"? But her definition of military service is that she was a ambulance driver in the Mexican drug war. I've seen her say things that she wants people to address her as a "veteran". Notice how she is a pretend journalist? All delusions of a crazy person, I'm wiling to bet she barely sticks her head out of her hidey-hole. And I'll damned sure put money on that she's not married and that she's making that all up too.

Ok, if we had to, we did...I retired a rope after one of those. Trust me, it was not healthy for the rope, even though it looked fine...it was retired into segments it was cut to practice knot tying.

I guess we rescue workers are scaredy cats. This is reason 1 why I do not do anything involving a rope/ mountaineering gear that I have no personal contact to the handling log.

Mountaineer...
I know someone started a list on the things nads is an expert on but maybe it would be easier to just list the things she not an expert on? It would be a shorter list for certain.

No, thank God.  It is of her at an occupy event, with the sun glaring unmercifully down on her.  Her receding hairline now extends to the top of her head.  She is a chrome-dome.  Why doesn't she wear a hat?

OK I know I only spent ten days in Air Assault School at Ft Campbell but I I know for a fact that you don't retire rope after any number of jumps. You look for signs of wear and other things .She doesn't know shit about rappelling and it is clear shes nuts. Oh and she has less hair hen Jean Luc Picard.

I think you have Jefferson confused with Ben Franklin.

Jefferson was a redhead as a younger man, and had a pretty much full head of hair in his portraits in later life.

Nutcase nadin is a dead ringer for Franklin from the neck up. Ben, of course, wasn't a fat dwarf.

I have to agree, she looks more like Ben Franklin, but isn't nearly as smart or diplomatic.

I don't doubt it.  I've met that type of person.  Usually, they are simply sad, lonely yet, harmless people.  This fruit loop is a class all itself.

Yeesh, so full of shit.

So Gnads, what rappel device were you using? A Figure 8, a rappel rack, etc........ and why would anyone be JUMPING during a rappel in such a way as to damage a rope? (IE the only thing that will retire a rope is a fall or abrasion/rope cover damage. ) Inquiring minds want to know.

Of wait, Dulfersitz method would explain the crotch burns and rope damage.
