Those numbers include people on Social Security, the military, Medicare, Medicaid and all that food stamp shit that runs rampant in the inner cities, etc. Those numbers include ALL federal expenditures. They're either too intellectually dishonest to admit it, or they're just a bunch of dumb shits. I'm leaning towards the latter.
Your right. They are trying to compare oranges to potatoes. Every state is different as to populations, cost of living, wages, military programs/personnel etc. which would affect how much they pay in income taxes to the governmnent vs federal programs.
You could live better in a state with no state tax, sales tax, and low housing costs, with a lot less money in wages, than it would cost to live in states like NY and CA.
