I think they already did in a round about way. They had claimed that it was a non-appointed bureaucrat that had been with the agency for some time.

Plausible deniability--but anyone with a modicum of sense knows that NOBODY was about to pull a stunt like this without someone in the White House giving the go-ahead.

this is what I was trying to say about the civilian support behind it. DLA is going to get that day a week cut too. We need to focus less on the federal employee thing and make light of the impacts he is trying to make in the big picture. I realized yesterday listening to Rush that he was not aware of the Draconian cuts he is trying to employ and that the message is not out there that HE ALONE controls what is cut. He acts like he has no control over this and he has all control over where the cuts are make.

Judge Napolitano said that it's up to Obama where the cuts are made, and if he's cutting things just to hurt us, that that is an impeachable offense.

this is how I understand it too. He has sole discretion to make these cuts.
