Welcome to the United Socialist America...
« on: January 01, 2013, 12:19:52 PM »
The Senate Republicans caved. The House Republicans will also cave. There will be NO Obama "promised" spending cuts in the coming years. The Republican party has signed its own Death Certificate. I'll be looking at TEA party and Libertarian endorsed candidates in 2014.

For the first time in my life, I will NOT file a Federal tax return! You heard it here first.

So be it Marv, we underlings have no choice, we over paid our taxes and want some of it back.

I was taught to withhold as many dependents as I could, pay check was much lower but at the end of the year a nice return of $10,000 helps pay off cars and Mortgage to the house.  I was warned that the buying power of what I deducted would be lower then had I banked the money to gain money or put into a 401K to make even more money.

I saw years when my 401K lost thousands of dollars a quarter.  Can not deduct the loss of income due to the stock market.  One can deduct losses to the lotto games and scratch tickets, but not that big gambol to the  biggest game on earth.

One thing about giving more then required to the Feds, one learns to live on a budget from a smaller paycheck.

Everytime we have our heating gas bill, we pay a Fed. tax every time we buy cigarettes, or Booze, even with no state taxes we still have a add on tax to the bill that goes  some where and why do I have to double pay for these taxes all ready taken from my pocket. ?

Very confusing to the average people out there that are old enough to remember when the interest on credit cards, homes, cars and bank loans, heating oil and even the Phone  and all state and Fed. taxes could be deducted.

I am waiting to see when the Government puts a tax on the income tax return.

LOL sadly you may not be far from wrong on that and in fact the govt has done it before, called it a surtax.

When you can make more money drawing federal and state benefits than you can by working ($30 per hr avg vs $25 per hr avg wage in US) then something is truly wrong.

Socialism is a siren song that is hard to deny.  In fact it sounds so pretty that many sing its praises that is until reality sets in.  Obama's goal is a three tiered society based upon the govt elite, the takers and the makers or welfare and a small and getting smaller base of capitalists that own small businesses.  Only the capitalists will contribute to society, the rest will leach from it...it will come to pass and I will see it in my lifetime...

The IRS will get your money Marv.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Not a good move marv, they will come get you, simple as that.  BUT there an option.  I think we the people should start a movement called (for lack of a better name) 'just say NO!'  You hold back 10% or $10 bucks which ever is larger.  And we get the bulk of the folks who voted against bammy to do it.  IRS can do very little at that time, too many to jail, too many to take to court...along with this we just say NO to the EPA and anything else these nut jobs have dreamed up thru insane regulations.  Like the Shrimp Fairy!!!!
