Man Stabs 22 Children at Chinese Elementary School

Chinese state media say a man stabbed 22 children and an adult at an elementary school in central China on Friday.
In March 2010, a man described as an unemployed middle-aged doctor killed eight children with a knife at a school in the southern city of Nanping.
Some observers say the attacks have highlighted a weakness in the Chinese medical system's ability to diagnose and treat psychiatric illnesses, which have been on the rise as many are unable to cope with the rapid pace of social change.

This is what happens when a country for a couple hundred years has seldom had to endure war on its land.
We get too soft and expect others to keep us safe. I also am a victim of this as I am in a horrid funk thinking about these baby's and how this could have been any school including the one my Grand baby's go to. Just so strange all this to me, how the parents and extended family will handle this is beyond me.
Watched a head shrink on TV news telling how hard it was to get a patient locked up when they believed they were a threat to the community. Curled my hair, and I wonder how the parents could even walk out of the Fire House after getting told their child was a Victim. Me I would be curled into a fetal position in a broom closet somewhere not even able to give my name.
Seems like this case keeps taking bazaar twists and turns, each time I tune in to the news there seems to be another horror, both parents killed and now the suspected gun man was not himself but his brother.
These baby's were sitting ducks for a mad man, how to protect them for us who has never seen true evil ???
