HOUSTON (AP) -- Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush remains in stable condition at a Houston hospital where he is being treated for a lingering cough related to bronchitis.

George Kovacik, a spokesman for Methodist Hospital, said Sunday there has been no change over the last couple of days in the status of the 88-year-old Bush.

Aides originally said the 41st president could be released from the hospital this weekend. But his cough has yet to clear up, meaning he has stayed put while doctors "play it safe."

Bush has been in and out of the hospital recently for complications resulting from bronchitis.

The fact that they say he's stable suggests that he's not - this is not looking hopeful.

4. Poppy was a total player in JFK's assassination

I've never believed the official story of JFK's assassination. But it wasn't until I recently watched "Dark Legacy" that I became aware of how central a player "Poppy" was in it. Our government/CIA still has too many people connected to the Bush Empire and others to expect we'll ever see all the documents that end up implicating people other than Oswald any time soon. And the next generation of Bushes - George P. - is already beginning their career in government.

Don't get your hopes up about getting the truth. There just isn't enough time for all the guilty and complicit parties to die off soon enough for us to get to the truth in the near term. They have too many connections that are still protecting them.
