Hostess Co. Bankruptcy

You may have heard that the Hostess Bakery plants have all shut down due to bankruptcy. But you may not have heard how it was split up: The State Department hired the Twinkies, the Secret Service hired the Ho Hos, the generals are sleeping with the Cupcakes, and the voters sent the Ding Dongs to Congress.

Is it any 'wonder', with the loafers we have at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery - today is a gift- that's why it's called the "present"

Funny.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

I really enjoyed HEE-HAW.....liberals found it a little too intellectual for themselves though.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

A classic, along with the never-ending "Where, oh where, are you tonight?" ballad.

It takes a lot of crust to make the kind of jokes people are making on here.

Loved Hee Haw! The women were great-looking and the songs stayed with you. Remember the Gossip Song in addition to Where, oh where, are you tonight/ why did you leave me here all alone? :cheersmate:

The Women on the show (emphasis on WOMEN) were amazing!  I was young when the show was on, my nana had it on all the time and I'd love to come in and watch.  Good memories.  Didn't think anyone here would agree that the show was keen, good to see many do.
