Darn just how big is Israel, from the map it looks smaller then the county I live in. All this Ho Ha over a piece of land that is smaller then a small island.
Yeah I know just a small outpost of sand and little else. What the heck good was it for, one could not farm the sand, raise crops or food animals, The Brits were so glad to get rid of that outpost, no oil or mines, only reason they held onto it was for bragging rights-----The sun never sets on British Land.
They found that as no country in the world would GIVE a homeland to the Jews did the Jolly right thing, they gave up a tiny piece of land and got out from under having to pay a fortune for worthless land.
