Hi5 for that! I do recall reading him say that he had 'served' and 'knew how to use a gun'. I took it with a grain of salt, but you would think that it would be counterproductive to lie about something like that.

He didn't say what kind of 'gun'--was it a screw gun, a caulk gun (both doubtful, because they would imply 'work'), a squirt gun, a penis (most likely), a firearm, an artillery piece, etc.
