I rented that damn VW earlier this year and had to check the owner's manual to open the fuel filler door.

I had one for work about two years ago, and had to do the same thing. :o

The 55 and 56 Chivys (and maybe other GM products) had the filler behind the left tail light. The tail light flipped down after you turned the lever (?) of the light assembly.

The other switch is to turn off your traction control

I figured that out with out touching it or looking in the manual (because of the squiggly lines).  :-)

I forget what else I had to look up.  It took me way too long to figure out how to adjust the seat.
