As of this post, the caption above me says I've been logged in for a total of 2 hours and 50 minutes.  That doesn't give me much time to read through every post.  So your first theory is now a law - I haven't been able to read the forums.  I just joined two days ago and I saw the "Election 2012" section and wanted to throw my two cents in.  Again, I would rather have a grownup conversation than be insulted every time I post.  I'm sure you don't like being called a dummy either.

Not crapping all over it, just wasn't sure where to start at.  It's been a few years since I've been to any other political forum.  The last one I frequented (talk-politics.com) is no longer around.  I always enjoyed the time I spent there.  Another place I used to post in was the politics section of the flint mlive.com message boards, but fewer & fewer people interacted there, which is why I left (about 10 years ago).

Not sure why you'd think that.  Paraphrasing what Ryan said, the only purpose of government is for the military defense of its people.  I agree completely!

Social Security?  Government should never be creating Ponzi schemes.  Get rid of it and give back the money to all the people what they payed in immediately.

Other programs that need to go are Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare and many more.  Let's start with those four though.
