Yeah, cuz here in Berkeley lite, Moscow on the Willamette, where there's some kind of social service (gov. or volunteer) on nearly every corner, there would be NO resources for a homeless mother? Hell, Eugene has laws on the books that practically make it a crime to tell a homeless person to move out of your way when you're walking down the sidewalk.

And what the hell kind of parent drops their kid off at a complete stranger's house? Hell, they could be child molesters, heavy drug users, DUmmies...lord knows what kind of evil you'd expose them to. God forbid, if I were in that situation, I certainly wouldn't knock on the door of someone my kid vaguely knew. First place I'd go (probably even before the freaking government) is the Salvation Army.

This is fake. Seriously. I mean, these people owe their soul to big government. A good little leftist trooper would call child services because the government can do a better job than parents.

Wow, Cin! I didn't know that's where ya lived! I went to high school in McMinnville! Well, for 2 years anyway. As an 8th grader and a freshman. Used to fish the Yamhill river in Lafayette.
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!

Yep, lived here almost my entire life. Went to Aloha Park Grade School, Five Oaks Middle School & Aloha & Sunset High Schools. One of my sons still lives in Hillsboro and my husband works up there now. I live just outside of Cottage Grove so Eugene & Roseburg are really the closest "big cities", but Eugene is the easiest drive.

We actually live just a stone's throw away from the Umqua River. The creek that surrounds our property is a Salmon breeding stream that's an offshoot of the river. Most beautiful river I've ever seen in my life. Even as a kid I to live in this area.
