I'll vouch for her on this.

The garden . . . we had an effin' groundhog in there.  Several times.  Cost me a buttload of squash and zukes.  The damned deer were topping the tomato plants again, and that pissed me off.  I did get some potatoes, and some brussel sprouts.

Next year . . . well, we'll be a couple of seasons in the townhouse that we're closing on in almost two weeks.

There's a cure for deer who get in MY garden. But if ya can't shoot the pests, get some gun oil and sprinkle around the perimeter. Deer seem to associate the smell with gettin' SHOT! Can't imagine why.

As for the ground hog, I got a windmill that sends vibrations into the ground and seems to work.

The problem is, around here, the chance of them getting killed by a car is infinitesimally high, compared to getting shot.  I'm in the burbs, and this is Noo Yawk! ::) :whatever:

Doesn't seem to bother them. Trees seem to keep them outa harm. After all, unless yer shootin' a 12 gauge, it's a little hard to pick the little critters off without sendin' a bullet down town! Even a .22 can reach out and touch someone 2 miles away with the right trajectory.

Naw, there's a few up here. It's tough to keep fish in 'em. Have to be deep enough they don't freeze solid in winter, doncha know! Heh, heh!

Actually, it's only about 15 miles from the ranch. This will be my first winter in 15 years I don't have to go out in 60 below wind chill weather in order to feed the glue factory!
