Still not sure whether the Tea Party is racist?

{insert pic of a sign with "I'm dreaming of a white president...}

Americans For Prosperity is a Koch-funded front group.

And to think,. Randy Newman thought this song was parody!

2. Nobody with half a working brain believed they weren't racist

no matter how they wail that the people who point it out are.

These cowardly Neo-KKK types are the cancer of this country, and their uninformed, small-minded group is an embarrassment to this great melting pot of a nation.

14. "My sign says: 'I'm dreaming of a white president, just like the ones we used to have,'" said...

...Stan Williams, a labour organiser and member of the Occupy movement.
(From the LBN news story linked in #9.)

The sign isn't a teabagger's sign, it's an Occupier's parody.

Of course.  That's their fall-back position.  Bless their little hearts, I think they actually believe it makes them look less stupid.

Here's the story.

That is not to say the AFP are not racist because they obviously are. But not because of this sign.

Fake but accurate.  :mental:

So, the occupoopers make endless noises about "agents provocateur" to cover for their cop-car-shitting, murdering, raping, terrorism-plotting ways and then it turns out that one of them is out there doing things like this.  There's a word for that...

Bias is not racism. Bigotry is not racism. Anymore, racism is not racism. It's just a slur intended to verbally extort silence.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

19. OP should self-delete this thread
As pointed out by several posters, the purported tea party sign actually is an OWS sign, a parody of racist tea party signs. Characterizing it as an example of tea party racism is false and misleading.
Nah, let it stand. Perfect example of primitives at work play.
We love to point at you idiots and laugh.

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

It ties in perfectly to liberals' attempts to frame the Tea Party movement for racism.
Every time someone comes to a Tea Party demonstration with a blatantly racist sign, the person in question inevitably turns out to be a liberal "Infiltrator" just trying to discredit the Tea Party.
Heck, a few years ago there was a DU thread where one DUmmy was asking for advice on how to dress when infiltrating a Tea Party (The other DUmmies suggested wearing a shirt with a teddy bear holding an American flag, and bringing a sign with a picture of Obama as a monkey, failing to realize that anyone coming to a Tea Party demonstration with such a sign wuld be immediately recognized as an "Infiltrator" and thrown out).

I attended and/or witnessed both Tea Party events and OWS events.

The only time race was ever raised in my hearing/viewpoint was by the OWS in Ess Eff.

Now, rasie WAS brought up at a big TP rally in Napa California but that was by Union Thugs.
