Wait a minute, is Cali the one who hurt her ankle or leg and instead of dragging her ass upstairs to get the phone she dragged it up the street to a neighbor's house?

That was forever ago wasn't it?

Yeah, it was in December 2011 that she first told us of this, although the busted leg had happened three months earlier than that.

However, I still disagree with just about everybody else here; I think that if dear cali'd tried to pull herself up the stairs to get to the telephone, she would've done even more damage.

Of course, she then dragged herself--three miles or something; it was far more than just "up the street"--to get help, but still if it'd been me, I would've done that.

The difference of course being that franksolich is a social animal, other people always coming over to see him, I probably wouldn't have had to drag myself anywhere near that far, someone by chance coming for a visit before I'd barely get past the front yard.

But dear cali, bless her heart, is anti-social, hates people, doesn't get along with people, and so nobody probably ever goes up that isolated road on the roof of Vermont to visit her.....and so the odds of her getting help before she crawled the whole distance were.....nil.

Yep!  My contract says I can not even accept pain medication if I am taken to the ER.  It is really a hassle but I guess a few people screwed it up for the rest by becoming drug addicts.

It's called doctor shopping.

I have sent patients out the door in hand cuffs because of it.

It's sad to see.

You'd probably need more like a 40" line to even come close to touching the sides of such a massive asshole.

LC, I'm talking about 3,000 psi out of that firehose.

And yeah, Coach, I see what you're saying.  It's too bad.

Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

When I was under a pain management contract, it stated that you were allowed to have pain medication while in the hospital (eg shot or pill)...you just couldn't accept a prescription for pain medication. You also had to disclose to the hospital that you were a pain management patient, and tell them to contact your pain doctor as well as your family doctor.
