Talk 1200 in Boston WAS a conservative talk radio station until this past Monday. Limbaugh moved his show to competitor WKRO, starting on August 21st.

Talk 1200 laid off their two local commentators, and ran syndicated conservative shows for a week, and then changed format to comedy radio, all day, every day.

So, for a host who is 'going down', Limbaugh is still capable of nuking a radio station from orbit by simply leaving. Try again, kpete.

9. I remember a time..Sponsors were not used in NEWS

and it was objective then...short, but informative. Corporate sponsoring our news, it becomes a reality show for ratings...not informative.

When we first got TV back in the 50s, the only national TV newscaster was John Cameron Swayze, and he was on for only fifteen minutes each evening.

There was a big sign on the front of his desk as he read the news.

It said "PLYMOUTH presents John Cameron Swayze".

Later, the same big sign simply said "TIMEX".

Well, that's not right.  Those commentators lost their health care and if someone in their family gets sick and dies, it's Limbaugh's fault.

The article specifically says the company DOES NOT operate Rush Limbaugh show and the company that does Clear Channel is not required to report.... WHAT the F,,,,,,,, is this person talking about....

Probably an advertising client on a local station.  In addition to the national ads (pro flowers carbonite etc) local stations that carry Rush buy ad time around the show.

Like I said earlier...these idiots don't know shit about what they are talking about.
