Paul Ryan tore up the Constitution and ground it

into the dirt with his muddy heel. On Saturday, he did just that. Our rights come from Nature and God, not from the Government, he said: it was, to me, the most chilling thing he said and the one that got screams of approval from his audience. It certainly sent a chill up my spine as I listened to him and then I recalled a conversation I had just last week with a young college student who had never read the Constitution much less studied it in school. This is very dangerous because I think there are many people out there like this college student who assume that their elected officials will honor and abide by our founding document. The ignorance and apathy in this country is stunning and very frightening.

I hope that someone with a brain in the media or at the debates or from the Obama Campaign will bring this up.

0bama pisses on the constitution on a daily basis, starting with 0bamacare then all his EOs that bypass congress.

Keep harping on this DUmmies, all Ryan has to do is point to the declaration of Independence and it will be check mate.

The Dec of Independence shows the exact mindset that was used in writing the Constitution, and your rights do NOT come from government, and if they did that would be chilling because what the government gives unto you, the government can take away just as easily.

You are right about one thing Raven, the ignorance is stunning and frightening, only you are the one who is being ignorant, not us.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Would they be so angry if the Romney/Ryan ticket didn't scare them?

He was paraphrasing the Declaration of Independence, you ignorant wretch.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

I don't know, to be honest. I have never seen a repuke ticket that didn't scare them. It's not the people that frighten them so much, it is they know deep down inside that their ideas are still widely unpopular in this country, that is why every chance the dems get they try to sound like they lean to the center.

For being such good students of history they have limited knowledge of the DOI and the Const.
