I am speechless. The ACLU is actually siding with Chick-Fil-A. Of course the DUmmies are kinda in agreement with it. Why wouldn't they, the ACLU is a left wing group.

UPDATE: As Prosense helpfuly notes below, Alderman Moreno and Mayor Emmanuel have since backed off their position, saying that Chick-fil-a would be treated the same as any other business seeking to open a location in Chicago.

The thing they are finally starting to realize is that Chick-Fil-A can sue for discrimination. The mayor of Boston has backed off of trying to force them from being there also.

I guess someone was watching Whoopie Goldberg's wonderful speech on free speech during the View last week.

Again you are defending a business...Not the people who own the business. People have their rights, their rights ends where it goes to the product they sell. I don't believe the ACLU has a valid case here.

What's that phrase about keeping quiet lest people find out how dumb you really are, instead of only thinking you are? In Abby's case, she probably shouldn't answer any laws regarding Constitutional Rights.

I will say one thing about all this flap over Chic-fil-a. If one had questions about the intelligence level and reading comprehension ability of the "progressives"...all one has to do is read the comment section following the Chic-fil-a articles. Sad, so very sad....

Isn't there a law against preventing people or a business from doing business with each other which is why no one can block the entrance to say an Abortion clinic or the DNC National Convention any more then someone can deliberately block the drive through lane at a Chick-Fil-A?
