NBC Uses D+11 Poll to Find Obama Up by 6

From Breitbart:  "Serious question: Does NBC just think we are all idiots? Have they been under a rock for the last decade and not realize that they no longer can control the information we hear? Do they think they can breathlessly report that their latest poll has Barack Obama leading Romney by 6-points and not mention that they are using a D+11 sample?"

From me:  What p*sses me off is FOX News channel used this NBC/WSJ propaganda poll in a report this morning pretending it was gospel.  I tune in to FOX News channel for maybe ten minutes (total) once or twice a month and this is what I get for news?

Rush is talking about this now. I feel they do that all the time to push obama ahead. Thus is the reason I don't believe any of the polls from NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, NYT, or any liberal news source. There is no way you can tell me that their polls are not bias.

It is the same thing that happen with Carter and then turned out to be WAAAAAAAY off. That was the reason all the liberals were shocked when Carter lost by a land slide. The biased polls they were conducting had him winning.

Can you believe this horseshit?  If I have time, I always look at the details of the polls.  Exactly who's in the sample, and how the questions were worded.  I don't trust any statistic I haven't personally calculated.  

I didn't hear Fox News report this as gospel this morning.  I listened from 6-7:30.  

P.S.  Ras is at 47% Romney, 43% Obama.  Similar as yesterday. 

And BTW, this is the partisan weighting for Ras:  R 35.4%, D 34%, Unaff 30.5%.

This tells me that Obumbles is in real trouble. If ABC used 11% more Democrats and only got a 6 point bump from it then that's bad for the dems right?

You know it is off because over 60% of the country say that the country is moving in a wrong direction, but according to that poll, people are going to come out in droves to vote for obama. That alone tells you that it is rigged.

The way you can look at it is that they are in trouble. But either way, they are falsified to try and dismay voter turnout. They think that if they keep saying that obama is ahead, and will be sure to get re-elected, it will keep repubs home on election day, and draw more dems out. It is going to backfire on them big time.

The polls I've checked, Rasmussen, Zogby etc show Romney either leading or in a statistical dead heat.  As I stated in another thread for an incumbent President to be in that position in the polls doesn't bode well for the incumbent

Just look at the last FOX poll that found Obama up 45/41 even that poll had a D+?. The NBC poll that you are talking about is a RANDOM sampling just like every other talked-about poll that we see...All this means is that of the 1,000 respondents, 46% identified as D vs 35% R....What are they supposed to do, throw out the poll since its not 50/50???? No, thats not what they do, and the final poll of Obama v Romney is not simply calculated by ONE question, that is why there is a margin of error.  The pollsters realize that with a sample of 1,000 people, it is not going to be a 100% accurate of a national sample, but its usually within 3%, and based on the answers of several questions, they determine the final poll numbers, and use such poll statistics such as how many D's vote R and how many R's vote D (usually Republicans are less likely to vote the other way by about 2%).  Just a few other results from that poll:

These results are calculated by averaging a number of questions in the poll:
-By a more than 2 to 1 margin, Bain Capital is viewed negatively.
-Republican Party is in the hole by 9 points.
-Dem. Party is even.
-Tea Party is down 43% to 28%
-Romney down 5, Obama up 6.

And for fairness, results from the last FOX poll:
-62% of independents support raising taxes on the rich vs 31 that oppose
-53% of Independents think Obama deserves to be re-elected vs 39% dont

Yeah. Lately more people are claiming to be conservative or independent rather than liberal, yet the polls keep giving DemonRats heavier favoring.   Not too many people are willing to admit they were stupid enough to vote for Obama the first time.
