2nd trimester huh? that means she was over 12 weeks pregnant. At 12 weeks the sex is determined and you can see all of the baby.
I just went and pulled my 12 week ultrasound of my son Jeep. Here is what a 2nd trimester baby looks like

Now the question is ---Did they show her a ultra sound of her baby ???? Did she have any idea of what was growing with in her ???
Doctors will show ultrasound and MRI 's to a patient with a tumor before operating.
Why this resistance to ultrasound a week or so before an abortion ?????
All this crap about a baby being just a lump of flesh that is growing like a tumor, no pictures or knowledge that this is in fact human life in there and not some disease to be removed.
Young woman and girls that are pregnant for the first time need to see what the doctors are to remove, same as getting a dental ex-ray for a tooth to be removed.
This keeping them in the dark about what is going on in their body's and not allowing them to see for themselves and ponder the choices they make is pure EVIL.
Woman really have no choice about what to do when pregnant even for the 5th. time if they have never seen a sonogram of the baby at any time. They have little idea what is happening to them anymore then if they get a tumor on their elbow. All they know is something strange is happening to them, and as in the past before technology the sex and baby were a surprise for the mother. [ go into labor and woman with no knowledge don't care if they give birth to a rabbit, just get it out.]
No woman or girl should make the decision to abort unless they see for themselves what they are aborting and given time to consider the options.
