55. I'm a little skeeved out by MSNBC & Faux
because they are both conducting this as a eulogy.
Whoever the talking head is on Faux right now, they are discussing these last 8 years with Shrub in the office as Kennedy's "Twilight Years".

Umm, let's wait and see what happens before we put him in the ground?

Yeah unless he is a repuke

36. I clicked your link to the Cape Cod article
Reading the comments posted below the article is scary! There are obviously some real haters posting horrible mean things. I'm sure they are all members of the religious right, the compassionate conservatives.

Oh yeah us conservatives are the only grave dancers and piss squirters around. :whatever:

Yr hmbl otr crspndnt is not normally the praying type of Otter, but am following this breaking news and sending beams his way bigtime. Ted Kennedy may have not always been flawless -- who among us has? -- but he has always been a leading light for progressives and good government and we here in Massachusetts put high value on his efforts on our behalf and on the behalf of our fellow citizens across the country. Here's hoping that the Goddess will make sure he returns safely to the loving arms of his family very soon

Furry or real otter, at DU who knows?

168. So... still no statement from the White House... Just saying...

Obama, McCain, and HRC in that order have given statements. Obama had two statements... So Bushco... yup... still scum of the earth.

Maybe he wanted to have the facts in first instead of using the internet diagnosis skills shown by the tards at DU.

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

Mary Jo Kopeckne, still has no comment.

However, I bet she is smiling today.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
