That's not a tinfoil hat theory. Look how it worked in Germany.

How else do you explain so many working class Americans who vote for the same people and policies that are going to lead to their utter impoverishment? It's the Stockholm syndrome, writ large.

Oddly enough, it is contained to one demographical group, albeit the single largest group by a long shot. One that is steadily shrinking.

Will we beat this mass hypnosis by sheer evolving population dynamics or will it bring the country completely down before then? It sounds like we're going to find out. It took the defeat of a nation and the subjugation of a people to break it the last time it got this widespread.

They see it as an advantage.

It took years to brainwash their followers into believing "conservatives" are superior to liberals in every way and can do no wrong. If one of their followers stray from the path, they will pay the price.

They put a lot of stock into propagandists like Limbaugh and Hannity. They listen with almost religious reverence.

They are more loyal to their Party than liberals. Their loyalty is more important than any issue, except abortion and taxes. No conservative is permitted to veer from the conservative "pro-life" position or to call for any "tax increases" of any kind.

No liberal is permitted to view from the liberal view of pro abortion or to call for any tax decrease of any kind, not to mention just leaving tax rates where they are.

What a bunch of arrogant assholes, if you don't believe what they do it has to be because you are a zombie, it isn't possible that anyone could have a different view of the world. No wonder they have to post at a site that doesn't allow even a hint of conservatism to exist. If a DUmmy strays in the least bit they never last long.

Yep. Conservatives aren't tolerant like the wonderful liberals at DU. Maybe kentuck should post something on DU that is negative about homosexuals, abortion, Muslim terrorists, or socialists/communists OR post something that is positive about Christianity, the military, the United States, or a black person who has voted republican. He can watch his DU tombstone grow as he talks about how conservatives pay the price if they stray from the path.

 What is so hard to understand about conservatism? We believe in empowering people. Liberals believe in empowering government. It's really that simple.Why they can't understand that simple fact(considering they are the most intelligent people on the internet :whatever:) is beyond me.
