The character of Pedro Picasso's kind of alien to me though, and I'm not sure I can give Atman the proper literary treatment.

This is a primitive after all who grew up in one of those dismal Levittowns down in Florida, his eyeballs glued to the television set.  As a little lad, for example, he went apeshit when meeting some obscure television then-celebrity in person, Jackie Eden or something like that, in a half-hour situation comedy about a woman who pops out of a jar.

I can't relate to either; living in a cramped space, or to television.

He has a "thing" about women's used sanitary products.

Trust me, that's something far beyond franksolich's understanding.

And oddly, whenever there's a primitive campfire on Skins's island about, of all things, nudist beaches, one can always find Pedro Picasso there.  But because he's got nothing to wave or flutter, he's never admitted to being in one.

That was the way years ago, when we were still at our old home, I figured out a certain troll was the Atman primitive.

He showed up as "Texas Toast," thinking we were stupid or something (there is a Texas Toast primitive on Skins's island), but he fooled us for all of.....10-15 seconds.

But the question was, which primitive was he?

At first I myself suspected he was the Bostonian Drunkard's boss, the former women's fashion photographer Marc Rich, but no, that wasn't him.

"Atman" of course is a name-brand of women's lingerie sold by somebody Bob Russell or Bill Simmons or something like that, and the guy seemed to know a great deal about women's lingerie.*

I f-i-n-a-l-l-y made the connection when I figured out both Atman on Skins's island and this faux Texas Toast both had a thing about women's used sanitary products.

All the dots connected.

As I said in my thread about site superstars, frank is CCs superstar. No one can work the hive up like frank, and he can do it without even trying. It makes me smile.

Oh now, there are no superstars here, just ordinary run-of-the-mill decent and civilized people keeping tabs on the primitives as a public service, for the Good of Humanity.

It's suddenly occurred to me; I haven't mentioned Pedro Picasso for months, and it's been even longer than that, that I last brought over a campfire of his, for illumination.

One wonders what sparked this sudden outburst; maybe the richboy's starved for attention.

I was at the time too busy with OOS (Operation Omaha Steve), and forgot all about him.  And damn it, now I'm too busy with OSC (name's not divulged until it's over, but the first "O" is always "Operation").

I'm sure that other primitives, such as poor stupid Beth or the sparkling husband dude, whose photograph as a ballerina is not only permanently in this computer and a second one, but also engraved in a compact disc (a new computer skill I only last week learned; yay, no more 3.5" discs), appreciate it when franksolich pays them no mind.

I suggest Pedro Picasso enjoy this lapse in franksolich's attention while it lasts, because it's not going to last forever.  franksolich is much too busy at the moment with something of Higher Import, and has little or no time for some primitive who pipes Perrier water into his commode, because ordinary water's not good enough for what he dumps in there.

OSC makes OOS look like a little thing, a bagatelle, a trifle.

You know, back in January-February 1944, French patriots were secretly parachuted on to the continent, to find out what was going on before the Liberation of Europe from the German socialists began in June 1944.  That's where we're at right now, with OSC; just the beginning, as one attempts to instill distrust and hostility about each other in the primitives.
