Well, they wouldn't put up Mao Tse Tung Christmas bulbs, I can tell you that. 

Ann would also probably arrange the strawberries on her pie very carefully, especially if she knew it was going to be photographed.


Come to think of it, I can see a Romney Christmas White House decorated with impeccable taste.

The fashion house that makes the nearly $1,000 blouse worn by Ann Romney on morning television earlier this week tells ABC News that they had nothing to do with the wardrobe choice, remarking that they’d prefer to stay out of politics.

“We had nothing to do with it,” a rep for designer Reed Krakoff said. “She must have bought it from Saks or Bergdorf’s, we definitely didn’t send it to her.”

“It’s 100 percent a Reed Krakoff shirt, but we 100 percent didn’t send it to her,” the rep added. “We don’t get involved politically.”

The shirt, an item in the label’s 2012 Spring/Summer collection, retails for $990, and for those shopping, is called the “The Reed Audubon Silk Shirt.”

The price of the shirt was first reported by the style blog Stylite.com.

Mrs. Romney does not have a stylist, according to an aide with the Romney campaign, and is likely to have purchased the shirt on her own.

A spokeswoman for the Romney campaign declined to comment on Mrs. Romney’s fashion choices.

This isn’t the first time that Mrs. Romney has been tweaked on her fashion choices.

In March, a little girl on the ropeline at a campaign event in Illinois asked Mrs. Romney if her watch was “real.”

Since the MSM has developed a new interest in high-end clothing, here’s a glimpse of Michelle Obama’s expensive, designer wardrobe worn during her $4M tax payer-funded jaunt to Hawaii last December.

At least Ann got two sleeves for her $900. At twice the price, Lady M’s one shouldered Jean Paul Gaultier doesn’t seem to be good value. Then again, it didn’t cost her anything.

Talk about a crime of fashion...Moochelle pays all that money on clothes and still looks like THIS? Doesn't she have clothing adviser? I mean look at this! This is a $950 skirt. I swear I saw this print on a set of curtains at the Goodwill. Well, except they were only about $10. I wouldn't pay that much to hang them in the window of my chicken coop...probably would frighten my poor hens so much they wouldn't lay for a month. If she's going to spend all that (OUR) money on a wardrobe she should, at the very least, try not to embarrass us.

My understanding is the Narciso Rodriguez "Black Widow" dress she wore at the inauguration may have run up to 8 grand. I can't seem to locate an exact figure on it though.

Why any woman would spend up to 8 thousand bucks on a dress that makes her ass look even larger than it is remains a mystery to me.
