A friend of mine told her teen aged son that threatened to call child services on her that he would be no longer be living there and that the car, your own room, your own TV and all the electronic gadgets would be taken away. He changed his mind when she told him about the living conditions that he may encounter at his new residence.
When I was growing up, a parent could send their kid off to reform school for unruly behavior at home. Plus, the authorities sided with the parents. Parents should be able to discipline their kids but should not be allowed to beat them. However, a good ass whipping never hurt a kid and I got my share of them.
