OK, so far we have 13 Businesses that benefit from the purchase of a Yacht:
The Business and person that sells the Yacht
The marina where the boat is docked
The trailer company who sells the trailer to transport the boat to the marina
The state who charges a registration fee on the boat
The boat builders
Motor builders
Mechanics to service and fix the boat
The companies that supply the pieces necessary to assemble the Yacht make money from the builder
The people who harvest the raw materials for the parts that get made and then sold make money too
Restaurants surrounding the areas that do all the above^^^^^
Depending on the size of said yacht...it needs a crew and cabin staff
Gas stations to fill up the boat (and the truck) on the way to the lake
Sporting goods stores where boating equipemnt gets purchased (fishing, safety equiptment)
Then we have this:
It's everyone, not just those directly associated with the Yacht industry. A factory could move in and revive and grow an entire town, even though only 40-50% of the people work at the factory. They have to eat, need to shop, want to make home repairs or additions, need their cars serviced, want to hit a pub after work, need medical services, etc, etc, etc.
