Like the person you answered to I have had zero issues. On the other hand collected on UPS.

There is more, ups employees tried to sell shipping packages, express no less, to a USN sub deployed at sea, where brown does not deliver.

Dearest nads, the post office doesn't deliver there either.   The military does from bases in CONUS where the packages are delivered to.

Yes, you really are that clueless.

I'm confused. Is it "ups," "Ups," or "UPS?

What the hell, Nadin?! Get your stuff together.

My late grandpa always called them "U.P." because they were known as United Parcel before they re-branded themselves into UPS.

When I see one of their trucks, I call it an UPS truck, said like ups and downs.

Thanks for clarifying that. I mean, I THOUGHT it was "UPS," but when the all knowing Nadin posted it three different ways, I got all flustered, and confused.

What does winning the lottery have to do with UPS or the post office?

She doesn't have a clue. She's just there for comedic relief. Usually fails at that too, but that's what she's there for. Even though she still doesn't know it.

About a month after I arrived in Germany on my first tour I called home. During the call my mom asked me if there was something I wasn't telling them. I didn't have a clue so i asked her what she meant. She said The package I sent and one letter both had  APO New York , New York xxxxx as my address.  :)

I know...but hell, it's Nadin.

Having worked there for nearly 7 years, it is UPS.

I'm tired and feeling stooooopid.  Let me try and decipher this without venturing to the Island of Misfits and reading the thread.

Like the person you answered to I have had zero issues. On the other hand collected on UPS.   I haven't had any problems with the USPS, but I have defrauded UPS for a damaged item.

There is more, ups employees tried to sell shipping packages, express no less, to a USN sub deployed at sea, where brown does not deliver. I was so stooooopid that I went to UPS and tried to send a package to my husband when he was out at sea.  The smart ass counter person messed with me and made me feel stooooopider.

I think the lottery part may be referring to defrauding one of the parcel services.

This is a pretty weak effort, but it's good to see that nutcase nadin is at least trying to entertain us.

Socialist Steve has clammed up, probably struck dumb by the impending May 15 deluge.

Poor, addled grasswipe Judy is absent as she works on solving the murder of poor, innocent li'l Trayvon, whom she now suspects may have been dispatched by coach.

Catbox squatter Mike has shrivelled up as he pouts about being located in a little starter bungalow, after years of trying to earn the DUmp's envy by convincing them of his wealth.

So, while potential challengers one by one fall by the wayside, nutcase nadin just keeps on rollin' along.

So are we going to let them privatize the P.O. w/o a fight? Not only privatize it but diplace thousands of workers and bust one of the largest unions in the United States?

Which "one"?

I know of at least 4 in the USPS.

Unless DUmmie lonestarNUT is referring to the AFL-CIO, which all the above unions are a part of.

All this arc crossing, rubicon connecting, scripts, and trends spotting is starting to give me a headache.   :hammer:

Perhaps some of those unions need to be busted up.

The Post Office as part of a cost saving measure is closing some Post offices.

Well a town down the road a spell had Two so they decided to close one, One was staffed by union members the other by non union members,by design or just worked that way I dunno. One was operating in the red the other was making money. Guess which one was making money and which one they closed they closed.

There are so many things the Post Office can and should do to cut costs that would return it to profitability, but as long as the unions are there and the bureaucracy is so entrenched, ain't gonna happen.

It isn't just in the post office either. Remember what the unions did to UPS about 10 yrs back.
