Alcatraz
The Killing
American Horror Story (is that done, or is it coming back?)
Walking Dead

I'm waiting for a Justified marathon to come on, so I can start back near the beginning.

American Dad
Red Eye
OReilly/Hannity

Touch:  What is that about?

I'm with you on all of those; except replace The Killing with Fringe.

What's Fringe about?

American Horror Story is coming back for season 2, some time in the fall.  I nadined it, unlike Vesta and her espresso maker.   :-)

My TV rarely leaves NHL Network (or NBCSports, if a game is on there), but when it does it's pretty much for Archer, American Dad, Alaska State Troopers or... Yeah, that's about it.

I watch the following shows weekly:

Harry's Law
Celebrity Apprentice
The Voice (starting to dislike the show now... the judges keep the crap singers around)
The Biggest Loser
The Middle (stars Patricia Heaton.. such an adorable show)
Parks & Recreation
The Office
Up All Night
Ghost Adventures
Parking Wars

I really like Raising Hope too, but it comes on at the same time as The Biggest Loser.  I don't feel the need to buy a DVR, so I watch Raising Hope on Netflix.

I like Alcatraz too. it was only going to last 63 or so episodes anyway. Unless they changed the premise of the show.

WHAT?

That's what thew news out of Hollywood is.  They will finish airing the first season but not be on for a second.  They either say Alcatraz or The Fringe will be canceled for sure.

I just recently discovered a show called The Black Donnelley's. It's interesting except for the way it's narrated by the dude in Prison.

Season two of Spartacus is over after only 10 episodes. I wonder why a station would bother for only 10 episodes, unless it's a money issue. Which don't make sense if they are going to renew for another season.

I loved The Black Donnellys! It was such a disappointment that it ended so quickly. I thought it was great!

I watch as little TV as humanly possible, but as Mrs E is addicted to it sometimes the only time I get to "see" her is from the side as she's focused on that friggin' idiot window.

I hate television with a passion, especially the nonstop commercials. It's pretty much commercials interrupted by portions of programs once in awhile.

But I do watch the idiot box when I'm on the elliptical. Just the other day I counted SEVEN commercials ranging in length from 30 seconds to 1 minute. This was during Bret Baier's show on Fox, IIRC.

And I'm partial to Mike Holmes "Holmes on Homes" and his Mike Holmes "Home Inspection" programs on Sunday evening.

The rest of it?   Pfffft.....and don't even talk to me about so-called "prime time". I don't know and I don't care.

Anybody watching The Killing?  New season started up; I still have it on DVR & haven't caught up.

Since Moviebuff checked in here, maybe he'll be back.  MB, about 4 years ago I had a major move.  Everything in boxes.  During a stint of spring cleaning, I unpacked one of the boxes, and found something I forgot I ever had.  It was an unopened DVD of one of your reviewed movies:  MST3K's "Santa Claus (Conquers?  Vs.? ) the Martians.   :yahoo:  Haven't watched it yet, I'm waiting for an afternoon by myself, since this is my cup of tea, and mine alone.   :-)

Awesome!
That is one of the best episodes of the entire series (btw, the title is "Conquers"). I don't have it on DVD, I watch it on Youtube (Most if not all of the episodes of MST3K are on it).
Enjoy it!

btw, in a bit of MST3K- related news, I believe some of you may remember that in my two movie marathons, I brought up the "Rifftrax Live" events that the MST3K crew did a few times. Well, this morning, I found out that they'll be doing another one of those in theaters this August, that'll be returning them to their MST3K roots: A fresh look at the infamous 'Manos: The Hands of Fate' (A classic episode of MST3K, examining what's widely considered to be the single worst movie ever made). Fortunately, I doubt it'll just be a rerun of the episode, since out of the three Rifftrax stars, the only one who actually was in that episode was Kevin J. Murphy (Voice of Tom Servo), as it was before Mike Nelson and Bill Corbett gained their respective roles on the show. They'll probably post the exact date of the live screening sometime this summer.

Oh good, you came back!  Thx, NJPines, I look forward to it.

Manos was another one I found in the box.  I watched that, and had forgotten just how dreadful it was.  The ending skit, where Mike-as-Torgo delivering the pizza always cracks me up.

On the DVD, they had an "outtakes" section.  One part is hilarious.  Mike keeps trying to deliver the pizza, and every time he simply opens his mouth and says "Large...." everyone starts guffawing and losing it.  Funny stuff.

Oh, and I just got a couple Rifftrax DVD's.  I watched the Shortstoberfest.  Fantastic!

For yrs I watched little or no television and then it was an occasional movie and primarily news/talking Heads programs. I even gave up cable because the few shows i did watch I could either stream or download over the internet. Then one by one shows started catching my attention. There are about dozen and a half I watch now. Still get em all via the internet though and No commercials.

A new one that looks promising is Magic City.
