(*note* Not surprised that he is paranoid enough to actually own a mail scanner) The package came from Pennsylvania, and investigators there already have interviewed the man who sent it, Hait reported. The man, whose identity was not released, said it was just a business opportunity and that he was sorry for causing the alarm. /snip

I don't think we actually know how the moron got it. Could be he actually drove by. As far as I know, Rush's address is not public knowledge.
