found out a friend had died, and told her something else huge that had happened (and I won't discuss here) and she didn't write it down just stared at me.

3. I feel your pain.
It is clear your doctor isn't caring about you.

I know, we can turn the healthcare system over to the government.  Then the doctors will HAVE to care.

Couple of things here;

1.)  I don't think you can draw unemployment insurance money if you quit.  Last I knew you had to have quite to go to another job and had to prove you made 10x what you would have made in a week at the old job.  I think that's right.

2.)  Sugar pills can be given out for no money fairly easily.  Sounds like the doc was 'dosing' TSS up and when TSS complained about the side effects the doc told the company and now the company is letting the doc do the dirty work.

Our employer requires that their doctor give you the okay to work or not work.  They don't want someone to take advantage of insurance, nor do they want someone coming back to work if they aren't fit to work.  Granted, they may have a person come back and work in a different area under light duty just to get them off insurance.
