ICE CREAM CAKE! :hyper:

It's the best kind.

My brother's palette is too "sophisticated" for ice cream cake, so my mom made carrot cake last year.  Screw him.

Wait, wait, wait just a minute there, sir!!!
As a young lass, I eschewed the ice cream at friends' birthday parties for a slightly larger slice of the cake.  Spaghetti and ice cream made me ill, as a child.  Who knows why, anyway, I don't think it's a matter of sophistication as much as a distaste for a cake that is more dairy than sickly sweet bread product. :-)
My family knows better than to order anything less than the supermarket buttercream frosting monstrosity that you find behind those glass cases every day.

I've never had a BAD ice cream cake.

They just don't exist.

Thanks again everyone.

I had the Oreo ice cream cake, it was awesome, but I still think Carvel is a little bit better, but like Chris said, ice cream cake is the best kind.

I think it was because you mixed spaghetti sauce (acidic) with the butter cream (a base) that was not necessarily the fault of the aforementioned butter-cream-frosted ice cream cake.

I made the mistake of ordering a spaghetti dinner the last time I was in the hospital.  It came right back up after the nurse came in with the Demerol. I was so embarassed. :bawl:

Ah, Demerol.  Good stuff, sir!  I got a shot of it once during an ER visit for yet another vomiting episode courtesy of my GERD/esophagitis.  Hubby told me later I was staring at the ceiling talking about dancing horses. :lmao:

I'm guessing spaghetti and Demerol don't mix.  And hey, I did NOT ingest spaghetti and buttercream frosted cake together as a child.  The spaghetti aversion came from a major vomiting episode when I was 8-parents not home-guess the babysitter was napping.  Anyway, I ended up fishing noodles out of the bathroom sink and it took more than 20 years for me to eat that stuff again.  So, do I win tonight's gross out award?  Cuz I gots more. O-) :-)

:thatsright: You win. Bleh.

Demerol is synthetic morphine (heroin).  I guess they don't give out the hard stuff at the ER anymore.  Bummer.
