San Diego's a pretty big city, right, with even more in its metropolitan area.

There's a lot of liberal institutions and colleges in and around San Diego, right?

And the weather's pretty good there right now, right?

So.....how come only an estimated 100 occupoopers there?

Well, it's an ocean of wishful thinking.

I know this is Nebraska, and Nebraska's deep red, but I've never known of a Democrat among the military.

There may be one or two in the whole state, because I don't know everybody, but that's it.

And as for the military in blue states, former and current, there's the issue of machine politics, which binds them to vote Democrat, but still, on the whole, more than just a simply majority of the military surely vote red.

I'm sure that's the case even in Massachusetts or Maryland.

Damn.

The military has far more important shit to do like training and getting ready for deployment to go overseas or deploy for training at other locations other then at thier home station. I can't remember how many times I had been deployed just to go train off base in the 101st but it was a lot. At least 4 trips to Ft. Stewart Ga in between both of my tours there. One to 29 Palms. One to Panama to the JOTC two to Florida and one to Eastern Tennessee to the Great Smokey Mountain National park.
