He comes over and said "why did you transfer that phone call" and I said "Because they asked for you" and he said "well they only wanted an address"  Then he says that he wants me to ask what they want before I transfer them and I told him that it could be a personal call or human resources and I don't think that is how that works.

I am not a union member so they don't see me.  I did email Supervisor asking if I was supposed to screen his phone calls from now on since he passed the lead test on the 3rd try.  Stupid mother ****er :bird:

One of the things I admired most about the franchise of Terminix I worked for was NO ONE was allowed to ask why someone was calling.  I could call the president of the company and his secretary wouldn't ask why I was calling.  All she could ask for was my name.  If I chose to give more information than that it was my prerogative.

The president of the company made that rule.  He said he never wanted it to appear as though we were screening calls and this guy was the president of the largest franchise of Terminix in the world.

I am getting my performance appraisal today or tomorrow.  You get graded from 1 to 5.  5's are impossible to get because, as explained to me, no one can make a 5 and if you got one then the supervisor must like you alot so they never hand them out for fear of getting in trouble.  Like, why have the 5 then?   :mental:

I will be interested to see how I am graded.  You have to get an overall 2 to get your payraise.  I have always gotten overall 4's so this will be interesting to see if she takes it out on me. I'll keep you informed of it

Right but I am white in a majority black gov't entity.  I have caused enough trouble in the past by bitching about people being constantly late.  Hell, the guy that got to take the test 3x, I got his girlfriend fired because I pitched a fit that she couldn't come to work on time any day.  She was consistantly late 20 minutes every day.  They finally got her when she said it was all lies and they got her on video when she said she was there at work.   :lmao:
