Despite my Atheism, I do firmly believe there is a part of religion that is beautiful

That would be the storytelling aspect of it.

Jesus was a storyteller. Siddartha Guatama was a storyteller. Paul of Tarsus was a storyteller. Dante was a storyteller. Martin Luther was a storyteller. Mohammed was a storyteller.

The storytelling aspect of religion, as essential as it is, is also something that can be enjoyed by the non-believer.

That is all.

He must have gotten a great stash of heroin.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

I find it odd that DUmmies go to the Religion forum at DUmmyland to bash religion.
Then I remembered that they are DUmmies and the forum isn't for religious folks to talk with each other, it's purpose is to mock people who believe in God.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

You can certainly tell when that useless drone has gotten lucky with his connection and when he hasn't, can't you?

Yep, that's when he starts thinking that religion thing isn't ALL bad.   :whatever:

What is interesting is that a group of people who are self declared atheists would spend so much time and energy obsessing and pontificating over something they don't believe in.

Even more interesting is that the above group of people seems to nearly always align perfectly with people on the far-left side of the political spectrum.

One typically doesn't hear diddly squat about any religion that isn't actively seeking our deaths from those of us on the right side of politics who are non-religious or outright non-believers like me and every last one of the group of people I associate with on a daily basis in-the flesh.

Doubt it, though he wouldn't turn it down. Taverner's pretty much a full time mainliner. More tracks than Grand Central Station.

Tavernturd is grazing at the shroom farm again. :mental:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Almost makes one wish that another kind of drone could "get lucky with a connection," i. e., a Predator with a Hellfire.
