Nutcase Nadin Prepares To Dodge Income Tax - Just Like Vinnie
« on: August 13, 2011, 08:00:10 PM »
So, nutcase nadin is donating a lot of stuff, at least in her terms it's a lot. It couldn't be much, crammed into that crappy little condo hard up against a roaring San Diego freeway.

We live in a society that encourages consumption
we are going over our stuff. There are reasons why we have that much stuff, but we are going through it. And we are also donating a lot of stuff (mostly books for the moment) to Good will.

One of the things we are doing though is donating anything that actually happens to be in electronic form. No, I cannot ever again have that many books.

I just hope people benefit from that. But yes, we are in a society that encourages it... and we kind of realized it now, just how bad it is. Downsizing can be fun though, and we need to do it. Such is life, to be honest.

It will be hard for nadin to downsize from that crappy little condo.
Mostly books. Can you imagine what drek that must be?
Fifty copies of nutcase's silly dungeons 'n' dragons book. In mexican.
Communist manifesto.
Biography of Fredrich Engels.
Nuclear Power For DUmmies
And you can be sure she's assigning an astronomical, exorbitant, incredible value to each tome. When Mr. nutcase files his 2011 Form 1040, he'll be one of that majority of DUmmies who pay no income tax.

Of course, nutcase herself, being unemployable due to severe arrogance disorder, has never had taxable income.

I'd just strike a match to the thing, declare it all on the insurance, and replace it all with new.

She may be donating it to her fellow superstar writer Wee Willie and meant to type 'good Will.'

I personally wouldn't use the adjective 'good' in describing Willie, but to each his (or her) own.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

She'll declare full retail plus more.
We know it, she knows it.
Ten paper-back books on Mexican history. $700
Two on milk...$300
Effects of radiation...one. $400
American History...none. $900 (it's a democrat thing)
Teachings of Karl Marx...ten..$7000.

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Salvation Army, Goodwill or St Vincent DePaul hate taking books. They end up putting them into a big corrugated, palletized box and selling it to paper recyclers.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

She will still take outragesly inflated values for the "books".

So...help nadin out here. If she donates an old dungeonmaster's guide book, in mexican,
what is the fair value Mr. nutcase can list on his Form 1040, Schedule A?
Original price was 10 pesos, but great sentimental value.
I'm thinking something in the neighborhood of a nickel.

Nadin -- donate your books to nursing homes, and long term rehabilitative centers.   They will appreciate them (maybe, depends on what they are of course).

Oh yes you did. This is like a cattle auction. You scratch your nose, tug on your ear, wink or wringle and you bought it.

Well, hold on while I hook the printer up and search for a three dollar bill image.  Do you think she'll mind if they aren't cut from the sheet?l
