Perry/Rubio- one hell of a scary and potentially winning ticket

anyone who thinks this ticket couldn't win, isn't paying attention. Dems need Florida and Rubio has won state wide there. He also brings latino voters in. Perry may be as batshit crazy as Bachmann, but he pulls it off better. (I tend to think there's a certain amount of sexism involved in that).

2. Very scary

Perry frightens me (nutjob), and the RW appears to be mad for Rubio. I haven't educated myself (yet) on Rubio, but based on the love shown him by the right, he can't be good for the country, let alone FL.

3. The Dominionists are definitely on the move. People, you don't

know political the political Hell those people would rain down on America. Their primitive, aggressive and arrogant views almost defy description.

Cali is getting all hot and bothered about a Perry/Rubio ticket, and this DUmbass is blathering on about the Canadians attacking us.

6. Rubio won with less that 50% of the vote and with the mood Florida is in right now

I would not count on him helping the ticket here.

Rubio got 49% of the vote, in a three way race, which is better than your buddy Slick Willie ever did in both of his races.  Conveniently, you left that part out, you piece of human debris.

Rubio would be great with me, not sure how the dynamics of who would get his Senate seat would work out though.

According to DUmmie Lochloosa, he should take the VP ticket and run, since it's obvious he was lucky to get that Senate seat in the first place.  ::)

DUmmie Lochloosa fails to see the irony in his claim, in that he is posting his DUmbass comment on a thread titled "Perry/Rubio- one hell of a scary and potentially winning ticket".

I think DUmmy DefenseLawyer is making a miscalculation here. The average DUmmy hates Dubya.

But the average DUmmy would vote for a jug-eared Kenyan muslim, so normal people don't really much care what an average DUmmy thinks.

That squinty homespun Texas routine, for normal people, brings back memories of 2% unemployment, Dow Industrials pushing 14K, murderers getting the needle, vast mountains of dead muzzies, Mexico being told to piss up a rope, national confidence, and general prosperity. I think that's why the DUmmies are worried about Rick Perry.

What an exciting thread BH, Thank You! Rubio is awesome! and I don't care who's on top of the ticket, well except for Ron Paul.

From what I'm watching of the Iowa Straw Poll, a Perry/Cain ticket would be pretty good, too.

I'd rather see Cain have a real job in the next administration, assuming he doesn't get the nomination--his business acumen and common sense would be a much needed assed in the cabinet.

Look at it from this perspective. Republicans got 75% of the votes.

Does that make you feel warm and fuzzy?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Yup, I have to agree.
Now days, the VP slot really doesn't carry much weight. (see current, VP)
As BSS, mentioned, Commerce would be a great slot.

8. I think if the economy is still shitty it won't matter. Pukes could win with a 1 eyed armadillo
Similarly, in 2008 we could have won with anybody. And Barack Obama appeared out of nowhere, like a gift from the gods on our doorstep.
Which turned into a turd in the mess kit.

It's an interesting conundrum.  Normally a candidate picks a VP that will appeal to the wing of their own party to which that lead candidate is the least appealing.  Perry kind of falls dead between the hardcore Conservative base and the RINOs on net in a lot of ways; his VP pick could go either direction.
