Do you believe they are smarter than the average person and are deserving of everything they can get?

Do you think they are greedy and lacking in some human qualities?

Not all rich people are smart, we have tons of rich people in Hollywood who's IQs match poor stupid Beth's.

I'm sure kentuck is implying that the rich are not deserving of what they have, yet somehow the DUmmies are deserving of what they can get from the rich.

who inherited it should, for the most part, be thrown into tumbrels headed for the scaffold and every dime should be confiscated from their families. See, e.g., the Walton and Koch families. But a person-by-person approach is necessary.

I notice the Kennedys were not mentioned there, must have been an oversight.
I also could have sworn that DUmmies weren't on the fringe left, yet here's another one wanting to confiscate people's wealth.

That's how I feel about DUmmies.

The poor DUmmies just can get over the fact that some people don't go through life sleeping in till noon, smoking pot, and eating Cheetos all night, and instead go out and do something to better themselves, it's just not fair and govt needs to step in and knock them down a few pegs.  :whatever:

This is what the DUmmies really think about the rich and what they would like to do to them, but of course, they will neeeever admit it out in public.

I went to school with a guy who, while in his early teens, inherited a ton of money from his grandfather. He was a good guy in school and still is today. We didn't hang around together, but we were on friendly terms and would speak to each other when our paths crossed. To this day if we bump into each other we'll stop and talk a bit. Some people that knows of him almost seems to have a low opinion of him because he inherited so much money. Most of these people do not even know him. If I encounter any of these people and they mention him inheriting so money I always tell them my opinion: He's impressed me. Most people who came into a bunch of money as a teen would blow it. He didn't blow it. He "growed" it. He's got more now than he had then because of HIS actions.

I think greed and lack of human decency runs the entire spectrum, sure there are greedy rich people and some who lack human decency, but there are also greedy poor and greedy middle class people who also lack human decency.

That's because the people they believe in (Democratic Politicians) the people who they think will save them or give them the comforts they feel entitled to, who themselves tend to be rich, have so brainwashed them into thinking rich people are bad, for their own nefarious purposes of course, and those being brainwashed fail to see at all that they're being used for their votes, and these people who profess to care about them actually don't give a crap about them at all, they're a vote, that's it.

because I have been listening to countless people over 40 years in 2 different states nagging me to sell my "product", even today. You like what I make so damned much YOU try to copy and sell it.

I guess I am very "Un-American" in my thinking. I prefer to expend my energy to help people. When I die, I would like somebody to say I made a differece in their, or their children's, lives and not HOW MUCH MONEY I made.

Most Americans cannot understand this. Certainly, the Republicans (including my husband) and Teabaggers can't.

Ice hockey is a DUmb sport, and HockeyMom is a stupid DUmmy.

Noticed that, too, Freep. Also strangely absent are John F'n Kerry and his Rhode Island berthed super yacht, Nancy "Gavel bigger than brain" Pelosi and her Military-Industrial capitalizing husband with their half-billion net worth.

At least the Walton and Koch families used their inherited wealth the continue the industries their forebearers created for the good of their employees, the country and the economy. Unlike the original Boston Billionaire sitting on a huge pile of cash earned by a dead man's family.

Arg this so reminds me of going to high school in a college town. 

The kids of the professors that thought a public education  was a must sent their kids to my school and I received a eye opener of education watching how life really was.

We, the general public watched the girls especially that went to Florida on spring break to get a nice tan for the junior prom.    One girl in home room class I watched as at 15 years old she wore the cloths to die for, wonderful girl, nice to everyone and a cheer leader and  national honor society every year. 

Her parent both taught at the local college, owned a huge home, this girl had all the things most of would never have.     Oh to be raised in that family.

I will never forget the day in summer when a friend called to tell me to look in that days paper, this 15 year old had gotten married.     She was pregnant and family was Catholic. 

  What a shock, while the other girls in her social class made jokes about the girls that were from blue collar family's that got in trouble, called them sluts, when it happend to the girls of the upper class of society-----it was a NO-NO to even try to mention that these kids were just like the underclass.

In the future as an adult I ran into her one last time at of all places an A&W Root Beer stand, she was driving a 3+4 year old car with a couple of kids in the car.   The boys were giving her some grief, she looked like she needed a stiff drink. 

Years later I saw a wedding announcement in the paper for her EX husband that had married one of the very girls that the snobs at that time had made fun of.----The bride had worn a leg brace most of her life,  Gimp they called her.   Her new husband because of the connections made with his first marriage now placed the new wife front and center of the social scene and the girls that had taunted and teased her now were in a bad social position.

KAMA and the best outcome of it I have yet to see.    Money not made by oneself will never make anyone happy,  regardless of how wealthy one is, the need for more makes one poor.

Well they were on TV in the 70's and the show was set in the 30's so that's kind of old.  :-)

The Koch family (whoever they are. Like the DUmmies, I never heard of them until the Wisconsin vandalism.) and the Walton family earned their fortunes legally, unlike the Kennedy family, wherein not even a single cent originated from a legal enterprise.
