PROVEN: The expression about being too stupid to pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel

I'll bet even DUmmy babylonsister knows that Lehman Brothers went out of business three years ago.

I'll bet even DUmmy taverner knows that treasury bonds and the prime interest rate are two different things.

I'll bet both of them know milk is safe to drink.

Those bits of knowledge will be added to their dossiers.

Why do we boil water to make tea, then put ice in it to make it cold, and sugar to make it drinkable?

Why is a building called a building, when it's already built?

Why do we drive on a parkway, and park on a driveway?

Why is on/off written on a light switch. If it's on, you can see that it's on; if it's off, you can't see to read.

Why do you have to travel east through the Panama Canal to get to the Pacific, and west to get to the Atlantic?

Not too many people are aware of that.  :cheersmate:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Taverner,

You put bread into a toaster, and toast comes out.

Where does the bread go?
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

10. That raises a few questions.
I've always wondered about South Dakota and North Carolina.
Just doesn't seem to make sense.
Shouldn't they be "Less North Dakota" and "Less South Carolina"?

West Virginia is on the eastern side of the U.S., so that's doesn't make any sense, either. And New York, New Jersey and New Hampshire are all well over 200 years old, so they aren't new anymore!

Why is it called the Far East, when it's to the west of the US?

Why was Upper Egypt to the south of Lower Egypt?

Why do you have to travel east through the Panama Canal to get to the Pacific, and west to get to the Atlantic?

Why is a building called a building, when it's already built?

Why do we drive on a parkway, and park on a driveway?

11. On a forum where someone seriously suggested that the name of the city Casablanca is racist,
This does not surprise me.

A Thermos keeps cold things cold and hot things hot, how do it know?
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

If chocolate chip cookies are made of chocolate chips, what are girl scout cookies made of?

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?

What color is an orange?

How far can you go into a forest?

Mine doesn't work.  I put some hot soup in it and an ice cream bar.  The soup was cold and the ice cream bar melted and mixed in with the soup.  :-)

Western is a major street in Chicago which runs North/South, all the way through the entire city.

There is also a North Avenue which runs East/West.  I bet that would **** with Taverner's mind.

 :panic: :panic: :panic:

I better not hint as to why those two streets were named such. This way it's like putting the numbskull in a round room and telling him to sit in the corner.

Taverner: Living proof that drugs kill brain cells.

Hey Tav! Can I call you Tav? Are you reading this? Are you aware we are laughing at you?
Give us a shout out with a code phrase like, "Why call them leftists, when they always claim they are right?"
or, "I ordered the Rachel Cory Special at IHOP."

or, "The Mannn is always right." (use 3 n's)

just wanna know we're reaching out and connecting.

I'm surprised that Taverner could get on the computer at all. The computer told him to hit any key; he's still looking for that "ANY" key...

Well, after all, since he doesn't work, he has some experience with the computer/interwebz. Especially with that one forum, the DUmp.
